What Bridget Jones taught me about life.

It's a Sunday night. I'm currently celebrating the fact that my only lecture has been cancelled tomorrow with a decaf tea, some scented candles, and watching clips of Bridget Jones on youtube. If that isn't a fun Sunday night, I don't know what is. #singlelife #foreveralone

I'm definitely looking like this right now as I jam out to I'm every woman

Amongst all the news and pictures of the filming of the new Bridget Jones film (I'm literally googling and checking everyday, I can't get enough, I'm like a woman obsessed), I find myself going back to the film and even the soundtrack a lot. Actually, they are the only DVDs I bought with me to uni this year. So here's a few things that Bridget Jones taught me about life.

1. You'll definitely make mistakes, and that's okay.

2. Nobody is perfect and you shouldn't try to be either. It's better to accept your flaws than pretend they don't exist.

3. Life is too short for uncomfortable underwear

4. Had a bad day? Did someone say icecream for dinner?

5. You always need that friend who gives you the best advice

6. It's actually pretty fun being single

7. Not everyone is an amazing cook

8. Someone will love you just as you are... Mark Darcy, I'm still waiting

Come on ladies, embrace your inner Bridget!!
