My Dream Job

So it's coming up to that time of the year that I need to start thinking about what job I want to do after I leave university. Thank goodness I still have a year left, but graudate schemes are opening soon, and this is all scary stuff. So instead of trying to work out what to do with my life, I'll plan my imaginary life out instead! Here is a quick list of some of my dream jobs!

1. Buzzfeed writer
Oh my... the ultimate dream. I spend most of my time on buzzfeed, reading lists and watching their videos on Youtube (no shame). I think I may start writing some articles on their community section - who knew anyone could upload an article! - so watch this space!

2. Butlin's Redcoat
This has been a dream of mine since I was little. Whilst I am probably way too awkward to be a Butlin's Redcoat, I always loved how happy they were. Plus, I feel like I could definitely rock the red blazer.

3. Disney Princess
I would absolutely love to go to an audition in London, maybe one day I will pluck up the courage and go - anyone want to come with?!

4. Harry Potter Studios tour guide
How fun would this be! I would definitely love to be the one who opens the door to the grand hall at the beginning. I would love to know all the behind the scenes secrets and hang out all day at the studios.

5. Magazine writer
So this is me just wanting to live out my Ugly Betty / Devil Wears Prada fantasy.

6. Run Tesco's social media accounts
Their tweets are just absolute gold.

What would your dream job be?

  1. I changed from teaching (can't deal with children!) to vet (would probably baul my eyes out over poorly animals) to nurse (picked something up on placement and got ill so left uni course). After taking a year out doing a traineeship, I want to do something in the field of marketing (mostly digital) as it combines my interests of writing and being creative :)

Pop over to my blog :)

  2. Who hasn't wanted to become a Buzzfeed reporter? And the whole Devil Wears Prada thing is so true!

  3. I would love to work for a magazine! It would be amazing!

  4. The Tesco twitter account is absolutely amazing hah! but working for a magazine would be a dream come true.
Loved this post especially since I'm starting my second year at uni in October :) Xx

  5. Wow! You got awesome dream jobs. I guess looking for your first ever job is truly the toughest part when you're only beginning to face the real world. Just always give your best to everything that you do. I hope you’ll be able land in one of those dream jobs that you have, Abbie. Good luck! :)
