2014/2015 Goals

This week has been absolutely crazy. I travelled up to my new flat that I will be living in for my second year and started to unpack. I have never felt so grown up ringing energy and gas companies and even setting up our own wifi - definitely feeling nearly 20 years old! - So apologies for the lack of blogging over the past week.

As I am now living off campus, I know that I am going to have to be a lot more organised as no longer will I be able to roll out of bed to a 10am lecture having 4 hours sleep.

Here are some of my goals for the next school year...

1. Be more organised!

No longer can I run to the library at 11pm the night before a seminar to do the reading which I forgot about. Look beforehand at what books to get out and remember to take them back within the 2 week let period!

Also, organise notes and my laptop better - I say this every year, hopefully this will be the year that I actually keep this up!

2.  Take pride in my bedroom

A slightly weird one, but I want my room to actually look nice. Last year I kind of left it and hated being in my room because everyone else's looked so nice. I currently have an amazon tab up which includes some bunting and washi tape, things are looking very exciting!

3. Save money!

Do I really need two packets of Double Stuff Oreos? Probably not, one will do fine

4. Step up my 'going out' game

No longer will I think that going out in a t-shirt and jeans is acceptable. This means some shopping is in order

5. Get more involved

I would love to get more involved around campus, joining some more societies and having a more active role and build my CV

6. Go for that first!

I got a 2:1 in my first year which I was so happy about, however, I would love to get a first for my second year

7. Keep Blogging!

Have you got any academic goals for this school year?

(Plus, hope all the new Freshers who have started university this week are having an amazing time!)
